THE CHILD INTERVENTION FOR LIVING DRUG-FREE (CHILD) CURRICULUM

The Dale view, Kerala, India, an approved training provider of The Colombo Plan Drug Advisory programme, is organizing an online course on CHILD INTERVENTION FOR LIVING DRUG-FREE (CHILD) Curriculum for addiction professionals. This course provides the tools needed to identify, assess, and treat children with substance use disorders (SUDs) using age-appropriate interventions and methodologies.

The curriculum was developed by an internationally-recognized panel of experts from a broad range of specializations—including treatment, prevention, public policy, pediatric medicine, psychology, and pharmacology—with first-hand experience in working directly with substance-using children and their caregivers from diverse social backgrounds.

Child Intervention for Living Drug-Free (CHILD) Curriculum – The training will be conducted in three Cycles

• Cycle -1 - Course 1 & 2
• Cycle -2 - Course 3 & 4
• Cycle -3 – Course 5 & 6

Who can Apply – Professionals who are working in the field of SUD - Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation & Mental Health.
Commencement of the first Cycle of training – January 2024. (40 hours, 20 days)
